Description

5P is a method to improve business operations and to solve business issues by the organisation's staff.

By different names, the method has been used for many years in many organisations by reputable consulting firms in Australia and abroad. This simple and effective method is typically applied by consultants for the well known and high fees.

Learning and Doing

5P integrates learning and practical 'at the coal face' application of all 5 Points:

    • learning a skills unit = one of the 5 Points

      followed in the same week by

    • doing it in your organisation with coaching by us.

The 5 Points = skills units are:

  1. Measuring the facts, (eg. delay, cost, inventory, etc.)
  2. Analysis to find the root cause
  3. Plan corrective action regarding the root cause
  4. Implementation of the corrective action
  5. Management and Development of staff (change behaviour)

The first improvement is usually achieved within 5 weeks.In most cases the program fee was recovered within months.
